Based on established housing forms, this system using gold wire transmission technology is extremely versatile. We make special designs for specialized requirements. Protection class up to IP68, cable plug connections, or rings with room for several hundred circuits can all be produced by SCHLEIFRING.

Glass Optical Fibers

Single-Channel Multi-Mode
Glass optical fibers may be single-mode (SM) or multi-mode (MM). While the multi-mode fibers can carry signals on several different paths or modes through the fiber core, single-mode fibers carry signals on only one path or mode of transmission. The advantage of single-mode is low attenuation with a very high data capacity.
