MJS Series Joystick

The "MJS" Series joystick, or "micro" joystick is a miniature Proportional Hall-Effect joystick with only 3 moving parts. Designed for exposed applications, this simple thumb-operated joystick provides an additional 2 axis of proportional control within a control grip faceplate.

The micro joystick is made from wear resistant plastic polymer providing a consistent smooth operating feel while optimizing the service life of the part. Compact mounting is achieved by threading a nut directly to the body of the micro joystick.

The ESX.ioxp is a small, compact and freely-programmable control unit from the 16-bit control unit family. Due to its compact construction, it mainly facilitates the automation of small machines and attachment devices. The control unit can be used optionally with four LS outputs for the realization of motor bridges and with four PVG outputs. It features an XC2287 processor with 80 MHz by Infineon (with watchdog supervisor) and 768-kB Flash, 1-MB-RAM- and 8-kB EEPROM memory.

CAN IO Modules
STW ESX.mbc

With the ESX.mbc, we present a new CAN-J1939 module especially for the agricultural and construction machine sector, to control electric motors and actuators in a performance range of up to 200 W. It provides four fast PWM half bridges (each 10 A) with current measurement and two further digital power outputs (each 4 A). Of these, two half bridges respectively, which can be combined to form one motor full bridge, and one digital output are supplied via a safety relay (max. 15 A per safety relay). The module also possesses four multifunction inputs, one module identification output, one digital output and one fixed voltage output for sensor supply. All analog signals are processed with a 12-bit resolution.

STW ESX.3ios

The ESX.3ios is a CAN-I/O module for the extension of the inputs/outputs of a master control unit via CAN. The communication with the master control unit takes place via CANopen, CANopen Safety, the STW protocol ECeS and J1939. The ESX.3ios fulfills the safety requirements laid down in SIL 2 and PL d. For safe communication, the CANopen safety protocol and ECeS are supported. In addition to the Wake-up via terminal 15 / D+, Wake-up can also be carried out via CAN. Due to the robust aluminum die cast housing, a total current of up to 12 A can be implemented. The ESX.3ios has over 16 inputs and 15 outputs.

The BCX product family is responsible for the safeguarding, distribution, switching and control of electrical energy in a vehicle. In addition to the safeguarding of the individual power circuits, larger loads including lights, lamps, air conditioning systems and heating systems can be directly activated or controlled. MACHINES.insight

STW’s MACHINES.insight machine software offers users a convenient interface when setting up the TCG platform. After connection via WiFi and using an Internet browser, you will receive detailed product and connection information. Different views permit the extensive configuration of many functions in password-protected Administrator mode, even for people without programming know-how.

Loggers, or files containing machine data, are completed according to different criteria. This includes cyclical records defined by events or via hysteresis. Here, the size of the files and the duration of the records are selectable. The files can be retrieved locally or forwarded to a Cloud service. The type of transmission (mobile phone and / or WiFi) and its frequency can be determined for MACHINES.cloud.

For service purposes, prefabricated display instruments can be assigned for the presentation of the latest machine data. The list of CAN bus machine data can be conveniently imported via standard file formats such as DBC, and supplemented through the data from the module sensors. The display instruments can be scaled freely, designated and arranged, and made available to the respective personnel in different views.

MACHINES.access

MACHINES.access is a VPN solution used to provide direct remote access to the machine. Remote access to MACHINES.insight is also made possible by MACHINES.access. This solution enables detailed insight into the machine from afar.

The networking of very different systems via the Internet permits a multitude of applications. Here security plays a major role. With MACHINES.access, our own development which is fully integrated into MACHINES.cloud and based on open VPN technology, it is possible to establish a direct remote access to machines using a computer, tablet or smartphone. In this way, the user obtains remote access to MACHINES.insight, the Linux remote shell or displays using VNC. Connected control units can be updated directly or debugged via a Codesys Gateway.

The Cloud solution has been optimized for the world of mobile machines, and features a quick testing possibility for machine-Cloud connection and use. Open, secure and standardized Cloud interfaces are used here.

As specialists for the automation, networking and electrification of mobile machines, we permit the integration of machines into everyday work at the office through our MACHINES.cloud platform. For this purpose, MACHINES.cloud offers user and device management via a web interface which can be operated from the PC, tablet or smartphone. The data collected on the TCG modules can be visualized, and act as the basis for geo-localization or the triggering of alarms. Using the live view, machine data can be presented via various widgets in real-time. The SCADA widget permits individual adaptation of the visualization.

Whereas most telematics systems today reach their limits in the visualization of machine data, we go one step further and also offer the appropriate infrastructure for the integration and automation of business processes. The connection of MACHINES.cloud to third-party systems such as ERP, CRM, FSM or BI is facilitated by a REST interface. In this way, users can retain the overview of their key figures at any time, from anywhere in the world. Market launch times for new services and business models can quickly be implemented using the “Rapid Prototyping” approach.

As the first representative of STW's fourth generation of control units, the ESX.4cs-gw is the first to feature a processor with three cores (Infineon Aurix). Six CANbus interfaces and a total of five Ethernet interfaces make the ESX.4cs-gw a true communication wonder. With the help of a managed quadruple 100 Mbit/s Ethernet switch, large amounts of data can be forwarded in a targeted manner in the system without using processor power. The SDB-P1 Single Axis Driver Board is designed to proportionally drive two solenoids using proportional control devices such as Joysticks, Slider Modules, Rocker Modules or Variable Voltage Modules.

The DBL-17 Logic Driver Board can read up to 10 inputs and can control up to 17 high current outputs to allow complex control of a machine's functions from a simple, easy to use control handle.
